Zeng Fanzhi 曾梵志

Zeng Fanzhi was born in Wuhan, China, in 1964. He graduated from Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in 1991, majoring in Western art and philosophy, and experimented with social realism techniques, on which his early series of works were based - including "Hospital" Series" triptych paintings and "Meat" series, etc.
